OLC JOINS NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL FOR HISTORIC MOMENT THIS AFTERNOON
The bells of Our Lady of Consolation Parish will peal today at 2:00 PM as we join other churches across the United States in celebration of the re-opening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris! Notre Dame has been closed since April 2019 following the devastating fire.
The Mass marking the reopening of the Cathedral will start at 2:00 PM today. You can watch it live by clicking the link below.
The USCCB stated “the ringing of church bells across the U.S. will be one more sign of our union to the eldest daughter of the Church whose forefathers contributed much to the U.S. struggle for independence.”
